VILLA FENICE
Villa Fenice is a Gesamtkunstwerk in which architectural, historical and artistic layers are deeply embedded and interwoven.
Developed through the Project Villa Fenice (1998–2002), the late nineteenth-century villa, its surrounding garden and the artworks displayed throughout them form an integrated spatial constellation in which architecture, nature and art unfold together over time.
Villa Fenice is crowned by the artist's Phoenix sculpture, representing the process of transformation and renewal of both the villa and the pieces on display within it.

Passage

As the sequence extends into the surrounding garden, architecture, sculpture and nature become increasingly interwoven, allowing the spatial and symbolic logic of the work to unfold beyond the interior.
